Power Cable Accessories :   Repair Sleeve

Reliance Corp. Repair Sleeves provide a fast and efficient method of repairing insu1ation on flexible cables up to 2KV and jacket damage medium voltage cables. Repair Sleeves is a wraparound heat shrinkable Sleeve that quickly positioned over the cab1e using a rail and Channel closure.  The s1eeve is supplied with a precoated adhesive which melts during the shrinking process to both fi1l the damaged area and provide a superior moisture seal. The outer surface of the sleeve is coated with a heat sensitive paint that changes. On cooling, the stainless steel channel may be cut from resistant, ensures a positive seal against moisture ingress, provides excellent resistance to abrasion, and will withstand severs cable abuse including flexing, bending and straining.
