Sealant Insulating
Tubing is a heavy wall sealant lined heat shrinkable tubing used for
protection, cable sealing, for corrosion protection, cable sealing,
and insulating purposes where a maximum recovered wall thickness is
required.
Typical applications include jointing of single core cables and the
insulating and jacketing of multi core cable joints. Sealant
Insulating Tubing has an operating temperature range of -4O¡É to +105
¡É and is suitable for both exposed above ground and direct buried
applications. It is highly resistant to UV, abrasion and backfill
damage. Sealant Insu1ating Tubing offers a 2.5:1 shrink ratio and is
availab1c in
expanded sizes from 9mm to 200mm.
